SUFFOLK

Shaker Style Pared and Poised

Nothing too radical, but built on its strong foundations. Pared back so it’s minimal the whole way through – as Shaker designs should be. There are a number of new cabinets added and updated existing ones based on things learnt since it was first created. The colour palette has been updated to make it a little less country, and more of a blank but beautiful canvas.

One kitchen with countless different looks - Different layouts, different colours, different handles, different flooring and different walls.

Specification: Clean-lined, quietly elegant, Cabinets: Tulipwood, plywood and oak, Standard colour: Driftwood, Standard interior colour: Silver Birch with oak features, Catches: Magnetic chrome

Drawer Accessories - The drawers in Suffolk will come totally empty so that you can choose which accessories you add in to make them as easy and lovely to use as possible, from oak spice rack inserts to a stainless steel-lined wet store.

PotBoard - This slim design is almost like a kitchen's console table in that it's unobtrusive and endlessly useful. It can be used on its own or at the end of a kitchen island and works as extra chopping space.

Drawers in Drawers - Inside some of our cabinets, there are hidden inner drawers so that you can make the most of the cabinet's height and depth. In our trio of pan drawers, the uppermost has one that we like to use for extra utensils and parchment paper.

Design details - There’s so much more than two or three design details to share with you for each of our collections, but below we’ve picked our just a few of our favourites for Suffolk.

Bi-Fold Countertop - Behind these concertinaed doors are adjustable shelves and an open-base so you can use the worktop space for storing and using appliances.

Pre-lit Cabinetry - Most of our Suffolk cabinetry has the option of having strips of LED lighting fitting inside so the contents are subtly illuminated and things easier to find.

Double Door Larder - Every Neptune kitchen features a larder, but no two are quite the same. Suffolk’s is the only one that comes in two-door form. It’s the very definition of cavernous...

LIMEHOUSE

Contemporary and Sleek

Limehouse is the one that lives for it. It uses only natural materials as well as traditional making methods. And as sleek as it is, the painted finish still carries with it a beautifully tactile nature. Its aesthetic may seem simple, but Limehouse is the most technically advanced kitchen to build.

One Kitchen. Countless different looks - Different layouts, different colours, different handles, different flooring and different walls. The possibilities aren't quite endless, but they're close.

Specification: Streamlined, clever, considered, Cabinets: Tulipwood, plywood and oak, Standard colour: Lily, Standard interior colour: Fog with Chalked Oak features, Catches: Magnetic

Spice Store - The Limehouse’s nifty spice drawer presents a multi-tiered structure in which your collection of fragrant jars can lay.

Cutlery Inserts and Prisms - Limehouse features solid quartz dividing prisms and oak insert. Together they create a beautiful storage framework, but also the option to move things about, to configure and to organise as you see fit.

Tiered drawers - Not only do tiered drawers look interesting but they offer more versatile storage. Think pans at the biggest base drawer and cutlery or tableware at the top.

Breadboards and Trays - Why take up storage space for breadboards and breakfast trays when they can be designed to have their very own space.

Design Details - Every Neptune kitchen is special. But each one has a few hidden secrets that make it unique to our other collections. They help to define it, and to give each one its own hand-writing. And then there are those design details that they share from our cutlery inserts to their slim space cabinetry.

The Larder - When you open its door you find a deep central cupboard area with the adjustable zigzag shelving. Then there’s the rack on the inside of the door that has storage sections at varying heights. There’s a further oak pull-out rack on the other side that offers even more shelving space and drawer space beneath with beautiful stone prisms that act as drawer dividers.

Sink Cabinet Drawer - Instead of a sink cabinet, the Limehouse has a roll-down compartment that keeps cleaning essentials at a convenient height and means nothing can ever get lost at the back.

HENLEY

Refined and confident. Ingenious and versatile

A vision in oak. The Henley began as a drawer concept. We wanted it to appear simple but think smart. Until very recently our solid oak Henley kitchen occupied the realm of traditional country kitchen. But be knew it could do more and we considered what worked and what didn't and what it was to become. Now, Henley translates at each end of the style spectrum, from classic to contemporary and everything in between.

One Kitchen. Countless different looks - Different layouts, different colours, different handles, different flooring and different walls.  The possibilities aren't quite endless, but they're close.

Specification: Sophisticated yet demure, cutting-edge, a future classic, Cabinets: Oak, tulipwood and plywood, Standard colour: Unpainted oak, protected with IsoGuard®; Snow, Standard interior colour: Unpainted oak; Mist, Catches: Magnetic Black-Bronze

Drawers in Drawers - Sometimes you’ll spy an extra drawer within a cabinet. It may be a cutlery drawer or a cleverly disguised compartment inside our concealed bin cabinet that offers a much-needed place to pop bin liners and neutralisers.

Countertop Bi-Fold Cabinet - Our countertop cabinets are a much-loved feature in every collection, but Henley is the only one to offer this open-base design with solid bi-fold doors. Clutter is kept contained and well-disguised, appliances can sit on the work surface but they too can hide behind closed doors, and the bi-fold mechanism means minimal space is occupied when they’re opened out.

Cutlery inserts - Henley features our Black-Bronze dividing prisms and oak insert. Together they create a beautiful storage framework, but also the option to move things about, to configure and to organise as you see fit.

They help to define it, and to give each one its own hand-writing. And then there are those design details that they share from our cutlery inserts to our slim space cabinetry.

Pan Drawers - The Henley’s pan drawers are a bit of an icon. Giles (our co-founder) has the Henley in his family’s home; his children used to hide in the lowermost pan drawer which gives you an idea of its generous proportions. They can hold up to 40kg thanks to the high-grade runners, and are lined with Black-Bronze rods to protect the oak from scuffs.

Curved cabinetry - Curves can help to achieve a more traditional kitchen design, or, they can bring softness to one that’s somewhere between traditional and modern. They take a great deal of time and skill to craft and so not every kitchen maker offers them. We do, in every collection except Limehouse (because it’s a little too contemporary for that).

Slim spaces - Pull-out cabinets, chopping block and tray slots, tea towel rails – these are all slim space concepts that are excellent at filling gaps, or for framing key components such as a cooker. Even the smallest design has the potential for high performance.

CHICHESTER

Classic English

Our very first kitchen. It began as a few key pieces – a chopping block, a dresser and a table – and then it evolved. Chichester paved the way for what kitchens mean to us. It’s the one John and Emma have in their own home, and have done for 20 years and counting.

Top Boxes - These clever little cabinets are for sitting on the shoulders of any wall or countertop cabinet. They’re ideal for homes with towering ceilings as they can be stacked and stacked again with spotlights inside to produce a subtle glow to a night-time kitchen.

Vegetable Trays - Inside our Chichester larder are three pullout vegetable trays. Yet another lovely traditional detail.

Cutlery Inserts - Both Chichester and Suffolk feature a super soft velvet-lined drawer insert that cushions cutlery and keeps everything perfectly organised.

Stratton Kitchen Ladder - A traditional touch that makes us think of old-fashioned libraries. Decorative yes, but practical too, it can be hung onto the end panel of a cabinetry run to tuck it away when you’re not reaching up high.
