Teak is a dense, close grained hardwood with high natural oil content. It is exceptionally hard wearing, highly resistant to rotting and is almost impervious to the effects of sun, frost and snow. For these reasons, teak is the first natural choice timber for outdoor furniture.

Gloster furniture is manufactured from hand selected teak, from sustainable plantations, of the finest grade. It is then kiln dried which not only enables accurate crafting with close fitting joints, but also ensures the stability of the finished furniture in all climatic circumstances. Every piece of Gloster furniture is manufactured to the highest of standards by skilled furniture makers and each piece is hand finished to guarantee years of service in demanding conditions.
