The Interior Design Process

The design process can be broken down into a few main steps: survey, ideation, concept development, refinement, and delivery.

Site Survey

A site survey allows our team to get an exact feel for the space that we will be designing. We take into account the size of the area, the rest of your home and the function of each room before we move ideation.

Ideation

Ideation is the first step in the design process. This is when designers come up with initial ideas for a project once they have spoken with you about your perfect interiors. They might brainstorm alone or with a team, and they might use sketching, mind mapping or mock-up techniques. The goal is to come up with as many ideas as possible during this stage.

Concept Development

Concept development is the second stage of the design process. This is when designers take their initial ideas and start to develop them into more concrete concepts. Refinement

Refinement is the third stage of the design process. This is when designers fine-tune their concepts, taking into account your feedback, to create a final design. This might involve researching furniture, fabrics and finishes; working out specifications for products like kitchen appliances; and putting together mood boards or inspiration images to help you visualise the final space.
